Methodology
VisionWatch
is a large scale, Internet based survey currently conducted
through Ocucom, a leading U.S. Internet research
company. The questionnaire is continuously in the field asking
100,000 U.S. consumers about their vision correction needs,
purchasing experiences and attitudes.
The results
are accurately re-weighted (based on demographic and psychographic
data) to represent the total US population. The data
is therefore not focused on the Vision Correction population
only, instead it deliberately includes consumers who do not
currently use any vision correction. VisionWatch can therefore
deliver very valuable data on attitudes towards eye-examinations
as well as accurately reflect the Plano-Sunglass market.
